A: YES. Resuscicare Inc. is an authorized American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) Training Center.
Q2: Who is American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI)?
A: ASHI is a division of Health & Saftey Institute, one of the leading emergency care and response training organinzations in the world. Since 1978, HSI companies have partnered with more than 16,000 approved training centers and have authorized more than 200,000 professional safety and health educators, who have certified more than 19 million emergency care providers in the US and more than 100 countries throughout the world.
Q3: Do ASHI training programs follow American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines?
A: YES. ASHI training programs meet the most current International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) guidelines and the American Heart Association (AHA) ECC, CPR, and First Aid Guidelines. ASHI training programs also meet the Recommendations of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Standards for First Aid and CPR training of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Public Health Association, and National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care and Early Education.
Q4: Are ASHI training programs nationally recognized?
A: YES. ASHI programs are accepted as substantially equivalent to the AHA and American Red Cross (ARC) by most state regulatory authorities, the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), the Department of Homeland Security/United States Coast Guard. HSI is nationally accredited by the Continuing Education Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS).
Q5: How are Resuscicare Inc. Instructors certified?
A: Resuscicare Inc. Instructors must complete a content intensive Instructor Development Course, which requires an examination, classroom presentation and evaluation by an ASHI Authorized Instructor Trainer. Individual's performance results are then submitted to ASHI, who officially certifies them as an Resuscicare ASHI Instructor.
Q6: What type of experience do Resuscicare Inc. Instructors have?
A: Resuscicare Inc. Instructors are Certified & Licensed Healthcare Professionals, comprised of Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, First Responders, Fire Academy Instructors & Law Enforcement, respectfully. All Resuscicare Inc. Instructors have extensive teaching experience in CPR, Basic First AID, ACLS etc. spanning more than 30 years combined experience.
Q7: Are course fees final?
A: NO. Because we pride ourselves on superior customer service, we are willing to price match or beat any vendor prices you have been quoted or are already paying.
Q8: How do your prices compare to those of your competitors?
A: Our competetors typically charge TWICE as much as we do for the same exact courses we are able to offer. Some of our competetors also offer a much SHORTER certification period than we do and for TWICE the price.
Q9: Do we have to travel to complete our training?
A: NO. Resuscicare Inc. is fully equipped to offer and provide on-site training, which means you or your employees can be trained in the comforts of your organinzation or workplace. There is a mileage fee for any distance over 20 miles (round-trip), although, like our course fees, is negotiable.
Q10: Can classes be scheduled during off-hours?
A: YES. We understand the importance of having well trained staff and realize there may be staffing constraints due to "normal" working-hours schedules, therefore we maintain flexibility options that we are sure will accommodate all your training needs.
Q11: Is there a minimum class size?
A: YES. Because of our scheduling and traveling flexibility, we require a 5 person minimum class size. You may opt to pay a (5 person) flat rate if you cannot guarantee the minimum class size.
Q12: How many students can Resuscicare Inc. accommodate?
A: There is really no limit to the amount of students we can accommodote. However, it may be recommended that classes be broken up into smaller groups to reduce teaching time.
Q13: Is there a minimum notification period to schedule a class?
A: NO. We schedule classes on-demand and therefore can provide training to you within any time constraint, so long as there is no pre-existing scheduling conflict.
Q14: Will Resuscicare Inc. schedule a class just for me?
A: YES. If we are not currently offering training for one of our courses you may be interested in, we will schedule a class for you if you can assure the minimum 5 person class size requirement. You may opt to pay a (5 person) flat rate if you cannot guarantee the minimum class size.
Q15: How long is my certification card valid?
A: Certification Period information can be found on Course description pages available here.
Q16: What if I lose my certification card?
A: Replacement cards are available for purchase as long as you are within your valid certification period. Please visit our Replacement Cards link to the right under "Resources".
Q17: Are group rates and discounts available?
A: YES. Group rates and discounts are available. Groups rates are generally given for groups over 10 people. Because each class we offer is different, and because class size requirements are negotiable, the requirements for these discounts are different for each class.
Q18: Why are Course registration fees non-refundable?
A: So that we can ensure we will have all the necessary Course materials for your classroom experience, we order all teaching materials and certification cards in advance (at the time of your registration). Unfortunately, we are unable to return these items once they have been shipped to us.
