Bloodborne Pathogens

Description: Bloodborne Pathogens is a detailed training program in managing exposure to potentially infectious materials in occupational settings. This work-place-integrated bloodborne pathogen training program has been designed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained to safely handle potentially infectious material and who may be expected to complete work-related tasks that expose them to bloodborne pathogens. The Bloodborne Pathogens training program provides the information every employee with an identified risk of occupational exposure needs to know to avoid accidental exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials and to manage an accidental exposure if one occurs.
